True Blood is a fantastic series, True Blood DVD as it is character driven, its definitely my kind of show. If you prefer your vampires to be engaged, rather than passive, you should check out this series. Without giving anything away to those who haven't seen this show yet, I will say that there is a healthy balance of dark humor, interesting plot twists, Gossip Girl DVD and just the right amount of suspense. There are some real life themes to give one pause for thought - parallels of the show that can easily be translated into real world issues - but not too much. The casting is excellent (I have not read the books yet, but the characters are very compelling and interesting). The performances by pretty much all of the actors and actresses are top notch. The L Word DVD My only criticisms would be that for a vampire series, it is a little heavy on the sex, and a little light on the violence, but these are only minor gripes at best. Check it out - you won't be disappointed! Overall I did enjoy season 2. For season 3 I would like to see a little more “Vampire” Bill. He needs to get really pissed and do a little damage. Want to see him and Sookie together for sure though….wish he could take Eric on lol. Do like Eric as a character…The Simpsons DVD he’s more evil minded in the show than the books. Hadley, I am sure, will be important. Wonder if she will go to Sookie and tell her the queen is holding Bill at her lair. If Lorena does have anything to do with holding Bill I hope Sookie stakes her…she’s gross and sad. I think Eric took him initially though. Would like to see Sam alot also. I have a feeling Weres will come out next season..maybe even help Sookie out a little. Overall I like the show better than the books…CSI Miami DVD but I am a Vampire Bill fan!
