#3 - EmpirePoker.com (9.4) REVIEW
Empire Poker
OVERALL: 9.4
[CLICK HERE TO GO TO SITE]
SERVICE: 10
Empire Poker is a leader in service among the online poker sites. They have a 24/7 live host that always allows you to chat with a real person in real time, meaning your problems get solved instantly. This is one of the best features an online poker site can have - no waiting, no emails, 100% direct communication. It is comforting to know that if you ever have a problem it will be fixed immediately and you'll never have to wait for emailed responses.
GAME SELECTION: 7
Empire Poker has a good number of poker games at their site. They have limit, pot-limit, and no-limit Texas Holdem, Omaha, and Omaha Hi/Lo. They have 7 Card Stud, as well as 7 Card Stud Hi/Lo. They also have single table, two table & three table Sit & Go's. If you are looking to play cash games and Sit n Go's this site is excellent. However, this site has extremely few multi-table tournaments... and I mean EXTREMELY few. One of the best features of Empire Poker is their beginner tables. Beginner tables are where only players with brand new accounts are able to play. These tables are essentially nothing but horrible, learning the game, new players throwing their money around - so if you've played poker before a new account at Empire can be worth it's weight in gold! Limit games range from $0.5/1 to $30/60 and NL games from $25 NL to $1000 NL.

GAME PLAY: 9
Empire Poker has excellent game play. The software opens quickly, the table windows are fast loading, and tournament statistics are refreshed in real time. It is also very rare to ever be disconnected while playing here. This site also has an extremely fast dealer, which is a huge plus (you get to see way more hands per hour this way). The software is based on the most popular cardroom in the world's software (Party Poker) and is spectacular!
PLAYERS: 10
Empire Poker is unquestionably, without a doubt, the loosest site on the internet! I don't just mean the low-limit tables either, the high-limit games are just as filled with wild action and "crazy" betters who have no fear pushing pocket 2's all-in preflop. This does not mean there isn't plenty of good players here, because there is. In fact, there are lots of them. This just means that the ratio of "fish" to good players is much, much higher then pretty where anywhere else other then Titan Poker.
PLAY MONEY: 8
Empire Poker has a fairly poor selection of play money tables. Play money is much more competitive here then at other sites, and there is even a few high-limit play money tables filled with very strong players! Play money is so competitive here that it reguarly gets sold on eBay for ridiculous prices. There are, however, no multi-table play money tournaments here.
INTERFACE USABILITY: 10
Empire Poker has one of the best interfaces out there. I play as many as 6 cash tables at a time, and have never had the problem of accidently clicking the wrong button, etc. Empire uses the same award winning interface as Party Poker and it shows - I just love this interface!

Empire Poker is one of the easiest poker sites to get started with. Click HERE to download the software onto your computer, press "Install", and then follow the easy step-by-step instructions provided and you're good to go. Total time needed: 3 to 5 minutes!

Empire Poker has a great cashier - and makes it very easy to deposit and withdraw money from the site. Deposit options: VISA, MasterCard, NETeller, FirePay, Western Union, Citadel, eChecks, bank draft, cashier's check, money order, check. Cash out options: NETeller, wire transfer, check, eChecks. Empire Poker usually has good promotions for their players. These include...
